Nitzia Davalos-Reyes

Nitzia Y. Davalos Reyes is an Education Fellow for Counterpublic through the Gateway Foundation’s Gyo Obata Fellowship For Arts Management. As a Mexican American daughter of immigrants growing up in the immigrant hub of Southwest Houston, Nitzia’s catalyst and passion for art as a tool of connection has always been her family and community. She is a student at Washington University in St. Louis finishing off her degree in Design with minors in Architecture and Creative Practice for Social Change. She is an avid public transit user which allows her to engage with all the places, events, and stories St. Louis holds.
