Behind the Scenes Tour at the Counterpublic House

In a time when gathering with intention matters more than ever, we are working to create spaces rooted in our values of community and connection.

This spring, we will begin construction to renovate our historic carriage house into the Triennial Visitor Center, acting as the primary site for visitors to launch their exhibition visit.

Members of our Public Benefit Society are invited to join us for a behind-the-scenes walkthrough, led by architects and designers Kiku Obata, David Leavey and Dennis Hyland, of the Kiku Obata & Company team.

Following the walkthrough, warm up inside the Counterpublic House with a drink and tour with Counterpublic President Lee Broughton and Deputy Director Kristin Fleischmann Brewer as they share about artworks now on display. Check out works by former Counterpublic artists Kevin Beasley and Khalil Robert Irving and other leading contemporary artists like Jennie C. Jones, Analia Saban, Nikita Gale, and more.
