Ximena Garrido-Lecca’s installation “Signal Interludes” opens at The Luminary on Cherokee Street, curated by Stefanie Hessler for Counterpublic 2026: Coyote Time.

The Luminary is an expansive platform for art, thought and action. Since its inception The Luminary has been a home for exceptional art that engages the pressing issues of the present. Garrido-Lecca’s commission at The Luminary traces the entanglement of trade, migration, and labor in relation to industry in St. Louis.
