Kristin Fleischmann Brewer

Kristin Fleischmann Brewer is the Deputy Director of Counterpublic. Previously, Fleischmann Brewer was the Deputy Director, Public Engagement at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation where she worked as a curator and the leader of external relations. A leader in the St. Louis arts community, her portfolio of projects includes public art, mission-building, strategic partnerships, and campus planning. Projects have received critical acclaim from the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Art in Americas, and more.

Kristin’s curatorial projects have included Brendan Fernandes: In Two (2024); Jordan Weber: All Our Libreations (2022); Chloe Bass: Wayfinding (2021); A Way, Away (Listen While I Say) (2017) by Amanda Williams and Andres L. Hernandez; 4562 Enright Avenue (2016) by raumlaborberlin; and collaborations with local and national organizations including Monument Lab, Ballroom Marfa, Studio Land Arts, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri History Museum, and youth organizations across St. Louis.

Additionally, Kristin serves as the President of the Board of Directors for The Luminary, a platform for contemporary artists and cultural leaders, and co-founded artist-run galleries Monaco and Enamel Art Space. She is a recipient of the St. Louis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award and a frequent speaker at universities and art organizations.
