Join Counterpublic and the Green City Coalition for the groundbreaking of Peace Park and Jordan Weber’s permanent regenerative sculpture, Defensive Landscape. The event will feature food from Chez Ali, music from the Red and Black Brass Band, tabling from community partners and a first look into the first public park in the College Hill neighborhood, realizing a years-long vision to remake the formerly vacant lots into a community-owned park.
This project has been realized in collaboration with the Green City Coalition, Washington University, Pulitzer Arts Foundation, the Nature Conservancy, MSD, and many more community partners.
