Join the Artist Database
Artists in the St. Louis region, we want to hear from you! Share your work and gain opportunities with the launch of the first of its kind St. Louis Artist Database. Counterpublic invites every artist in the St. Louis region to submit their work. We welcome submissions from artists and makers of all kinds - sculpture, painting, photography, film, music, dance, performance, installation, writing, socially engaged-practices, architecture and more.
This crowd-sourced database will house artists’ contact information and will be a reference and resource as we develop future projects. With your approval, we will share your work with other curators and project partners. By submitting your work through our online form, you are becoming a part of a larger network of opportunities. The 2026 curatorial ensemble will be reviewing submissions through February 2025. Submissions after March 1 will remain open for general ongoing reference.
Submitting does not guarantee follow-up communication. This is not a proposal open call.
